Profession Changer wont matter anymore because once you pay for a secondary, you can change it on the fly in nightfall. So once you pay that 500 gold, or complete one of those quests, You can change your secondary in the skills/hero window.

I'll look for the screenshot to post in a minute....

We don't need another npc profession changer; it has been said you'll be able to switch through the skill templates window. I can't really think of any other sort of npc they could possibly add.

Yep, heres one of the pics Wolfgaming put up a couple weeks ago:

Also notice how attributes and skills are in the same window now. Another change that makes alot of sense, considering you change your attributes and skills depending on the build you want to use.

Oh yeah, and your builds can be saved as templates apparently. So I believe you can save a template with a secondary, changed attributes and changed skills. Then switch to it in one click.

Default Back on topic

First let me say this. I LOVE the idea of templates.

Now, back on topic for this thread on NPCs in the guild hall. I would like to see some aesthetic NPCs added. For example, buying townfolk to walk your guild hall like they do in towns. Perhaps even buy different types of townfolk (Tyrians, Canthans, Elonians, Dwarves, Centours, Tengu, etc.) to make the guild hall more of a small city feel. The NPCs are a good start for this, but adding to it would be great.

Perhaps giving the option to set basic color schemes would be cool as well. Perhaps a Guild Painter. Nothing overly elaborate, just something like what dye does to your armor. You can't choose what parts of your armor are dyed, only the color of dye used. Something similar to that to color your guild hall would be neat I think.

Over all I just think a game with the name of "Guild Wars" should give more options for the center of your guild...the Guild Hall. The NPCs were a great start.

I think you just want to turn your guild hall into a harem

I think "Magic Vault" to store items and "Trash Can" to add trashed items in Guild Hall (if someone find item useless he just trash it and somebody else might pick it from "Trash Can" when he find it useful to own character.

Someone to buy new dances from =D
And even change hair color, style, add tattoos or something
Maybe even add accessories like earings or rings.
Maybe even add cool lighting / bling-bling effects to your armor/weapons!

First mod I ever made with the Neverwinter Nights toolset. Along with a power-levelling NPC and a chest full of maxed out magical items, of course.

I would always be scared of that new member that will raid the storage and leave.... no protection/penalty to stop them either. I've been in a 100 max guild, and there was no way I knew or trusted all 100 of those dudes...

Not if it was permanently assigned to the person who deposited the item while it resided in there.

I would open a new business. Joining guilds, emptying their trash cans, and selling it all. 100k a day

That would defeat the purpose of having guild storage at all.

I would personally love to see an NPC in the Guild Hall that could hold an item for another player... I could see it having very limited ability to transfer items, say 7 items max like the trade window.

You've got a guildie running through Zen Daijun and he is about to need some mats for his armor, but you've got to go AFK before the store closes, so you run up to the item transfer NPC, put in 200 hides and 32 steel, and specify it for a character name... You could also possibly leave unspecified items in there for a first come first serve style of distributing nice items that are useless to you personally...

Communal guild storage would be a welcome feature, quite useful IMO, especially if it was upgradable with crafting material storage as well. However Anet is apparently loathe to implement it, perhaps due to the fears that people would demand retribution when the inevitable new random guildmate looted all your precious items.

Personally I would love to see more NPCs in general, I'd like to see town NPCs where you could alter your hair style/color like someone mentioned here. However I think that it could be used to more effect than the simple implication of it, I think you could have Luxon and Kurz specific hair styles, only attainable in Cavalon or HzH. Perhaps mostly I'd just like to make my character Santa Claws bald, I'm tired of looking at the chopsticks on the back of his head.
